Strengthening the relevance of heritage preservation in the public consciousness is of great importance in our times. To decrease the loss of valuable historic, garden and technic structure caused by the continuous reduction of public means for heritage preservation, also the initiative of non-profit-organisations is needed.
The redevelopment of buildings with a certain historical, aesthetical, architectural and technical value requires knowledge of planning, history and architecture. Therefore reconstruction projects are particularly appropriate to employ professionals, to impart special knowledge to interested amateurs and to raise public interest in heritage preservation.
