The greater life expectancy of elderly people is linked with a benefit of actively useable years. To spend this time effectively elderly people need age appropriate offers and suggestions. In- and outdoor sports programs preserve autonomy and enable participation in public life. As an additional offer in residential homes and meeting places Staying active in Old Age provides playing, fun and physical activity for the elderly.
After a try-out of the sports elements the executive team visits the facility. The playing elements are explained and support at playing is provided. New ideas for further sports elements have been developed, and put into practice in our workshop by the participants of the employment promotion. Therefore there are always new playing elements, so that the joy of playing and physical activity never ends.
