Project target

Target of the overall project lead-managed by FAL e.V. is the enhancement of the occupational development and the mobility of individuals in European earth building. The project defines and tests joint learning targets and competences. The description and evaluation of competences will be developed for different qualification levels and target groups.
Within the project BAUFACHFRAU pursues the objective to document and accredit individual competences in earth building independent from the learning location. The specific situations and interests of self-helpers and migrants will be included.

Project steps

Based on the further education project ‚Clay Plaster and Interior Design’, which was developed within the EU program Leonardo da Vinci learning targets and competences will be fixed with respect to the European Qualification Framework (ECF) and the European Credit System for Vocational Education Training (ECVET). In September 2009 these competence standards will be checked at a self-helper construction site at the community garden in Berlin-Neukölln.
