The necessity to shape schools and day care centres as performance-driven workspace as well as spaces of recovery and experience is not questioned. A reshaping often fails due to the lack of funds.
The children take part in the design and practical realisation. Their participation enhances technical experience and particularly at schools vandalism is avoided. Occupational opportunities at the labour market will be improved through qualification, internships and work experiences within the project.
In close cooperation with schools and day care centres design concepts are developed and funding possibilities found. The bulk of the project proposals can only be realised, because parents and DIY stores donate materials, recycled material is used and parents-teacher organisations support the realisation.
The projects conform to the ideas and needs of the schools and day care centres and the skills of the participants. Realised projects: tiles mosaics, wall design, wooden play houses, theatre stages in and outdoors, construction of road ways, landscape gardening, willow huts, play objects and much more.
