Many of BAUFACHFRAU’s projects pursue the goal to improve the design and use of public spaces such as public locations and municipal parks, sports and play rooms, or fallow land. BAUFACHFRAU adopts the planning, the project management as well as the execution and initiates participation processes. We try to develop inexpensive, flexible and multi-functional possibilities of use. In doing so the involvement of different user groups, such as migrants, children, youths, take the centre stage. Urban spaces were perceived and experienced in a new way. Particularly girls are encouraged to discover and explore public spaces.
